Mariana Mendez

Mariana Méndez, from the beginning, developed her work in the creation of pieces that swim between the Design world, the Art and Clothing world. Her works, made mostly of unique pieces, are used as accessories, dressing the woman who chooses them or decorating any interior space they are exposed to. Mariana creates rounded volumes born from flat fabrics made in looms developed by herself. She integrated the use of lambskin to express the volumes generated by herself from paper constructions. This process made it possible to create pieces that link The Bag with the world of clothing. Her collection, always connected to the Japanese market, comprises numbered pieces made in limited series that expose a new way of making art.
